Hometown EXPO ‘That Spring Thing’

The Springboro Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that the 2017 Hometown Expo “That Spring Thing,” presented by Wade Insurance Agency, will be held on Saturday, March 18th at Springboro High School. Hometown Expo is Warren County’s Largest Business-to-Consumer Expo each year, featuring 200+ exhibits including local businesses and non-profit organizations. Truly a community event, Hometown Expo is FREE to attend, and allows Springboro residents to directly interface with the Springboro business community. Find a doctor, an attorney, an insurance agent or an electrician all in one day. Residents can also enter to win hundreds of door prizes valued at over $15,000, including a Grand Prize package valued at $3,000, sponsored by Custom Connections Audio Video, Ltd.

Opening ceremonies will be held promptly at 10:00 AM and will feature well-known community leaders. Make sure to get there early in order to secure a great parking space! In 2016, over 8,000 people attended Hometown EXPO, despite the poor weather, with the Chamber projecting a much larger crowd in 2017. Once you enter the event, you can stay throughout the entire day. The Expo Food Court will offer a variety of low-cost choices for breakfast and lunch. Restaurant vendors will provide smaller portions at around the $5 price point and below.

Entertainment will be provided on the stage in the commons area of the high school. Music groups from Springboro Community Schools will perform as well as other local talent. Hometown Expo will conclude at 3:00 PM with a local music ensemble closing the event. The Grand Prize winner is announced during the closing ceremonies, but the winner is not required to be present to claim the prize, which must be claimed within 30 days.

Event is SOLD OUT! Businesses and non-profit organizations can contact the Springboro Chamber of Commerce at 937-748-0074 if they are interested in being put on a waitlist. All exhibitors are required to be Springboro Chamber of Commerce members.
